I found out today that my trans wasn't rebuilt very well because it doesn't want to stay in overdrive and 1-2 shifting is becoming rough. Good thing I have a warranty...

Also removed the running boards.

Had my truck tuned yesterday. im really pleased with it.. now it has some pick up an go an the trans shifts awesome!! The only bad thing is the guy couldnt figure out how to adjust the speedo. Something about the 99s being the first year to be flashable. Any thoughts on this? He did give me a discount because of it. and this is what he used http://www.hptuners.com/

Washed and waxed her. After taking off the running boards there was a ton of dirt where they were covering before. I think she looks pretty good now.

I found out, after going down a steep, rocky slope, and having to turn around and go back up it, that my front axle disconnect actuator thing isn't working. This is the first time I've used 2wd since I had the shop replace my front axle seals.

Guess where I'm going tomorrow? :emotions122:

well, summing up the weekend...

seat covers, brake light switch (which did not fix the cruise darn it), door pins, undercarriage coating, purge valve solenoid, gas cap.

second coat of wax from turtle wax black box.

it was a busy weekend!

Put some driving lights in the air dam. I've always wanted to put a set there. I think it came out pretty good. I used some scrap aluminum to make a bracket and bolted it to the supports. Here are a few pics.
