What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Investigated a repair to my wounded transmission:

In order of expense from $5k + ship + TC + billet planet gear to worse...
6l80etuning recommends a 6L90 built by Circle D
Circle D recommends a 6L80 that they build
Century recommends a 4L80 conversion

Was really hoping for a unified answer.

Well wife curbed an rim today. So that's what was done today to it. Guess it's time to take it to get fixed. I swear this is like 3rd rim she has curbed with all my wheels. But can't blame here as the spot I did it once at our bank as the lanes are so small.

Cant say lazy as she was depositing a check instead of going inside. But either way told her never to take my truck through it again as the lanes suck.

Trimmed the rears to get rid of the rub a dub dub.

I still need to 2x4 the fronts, but am not exactly sure where to put the 2x4 and how to hold it (ie do I need a 2nd person). Anyone have any hints for me of Tony's Magic Fenderwell mod. I've searched like hell and can't find pics.

I've tried like hell to find pics and asked, but still haven't seen any. I kinda get what I need to do but I'm in the same boat as you don't know quite where to put it or what.

Got my 26s swapped over. Installed a new grille as well. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Got ready for a road trip weekend. The windows where water spotted so I used some invisible glass spot remover and not enough time to wash the whole rig but did detail the wheels and tires. Had to stop by my parents and they live on a dirt road [emoji12]
