Still looking pretty clean in here for the mileage. Just got done putting in the GM valve cover gaskets to replace the fel-Pro's. Difference between the gaskets was night and day comparing to how they felt getting installed into the VC. The Fel Pro's felt very subtle and you had to be very careful they didn't fall out of the groove when putting the vC back into place and bumping things. Installing the GM gaskets they seemed a bit sturdier and there was little treads on the lip that helped it tight fit into the groove and hold there very well and the sealing lip seems to be a bit more protruding and just feels better torqueing down IMO. Didn't get comparison pics of the gaskets because I am racing the clock tonight.

Me too. They were terrible ugly cars so I don’t get why they brought the name back. I guess they needed a name of an ugly car to name the new ugly Maverick thing after.
I’ve read that Ford’s demographic for the Maverick is 25-35 year olds. If that’s true, they’ve probably never heard the nameplate before and they are more likely to associate the name with how they see themselves.

I’ve seen quite a few of them on the road.

You actually care about your mpg? I quit even looking at mine along time ago. :D
not particularity it just tells me if everything is working right, I noticed before when the cat's went bad that it really tanked i was getting like 7-8
if I let off the pedal it would go up but that's a hard habit to break I have had a heavy foot my entire life
even as a kid I used to put double batterys in toys so they would go faster lol

This. Monitoring operation and quality of fuel from brands and stations is why I watch mine. Hell, I noticed the .5-1 MPG I lost with the recent installation of the 22s. Only getting 19.xx at 80 MPH now.
:D
ya mine is always on 10.7 until I cleared it, now it will slowly creep back down from 12, just driving around town today it went down to 11.8

Mine is always on miles till empty.
But I do reset the trip every tank and as I scroll through it's often only around 8.5.

Today i drove 2h one way to put on new wheels and leave old bad ones to avoid paying any duty on my way back at the border.

Rides smooth with air rear, i don’t feel difference with the old 20s

Edit: wont let me upload pic, will do later

mine is the 6.2 AWD I don't see nearly anyone getting any worse mileage than me, what is your setup?
any type of lift and those 33"s will put a hit on it
The front end is 3 in higher than stock.
The 33s are only a tiny bit bigger but yes definitely don't help.
I've got the truck towing mirrors on it, and the "border patrol bumper cut"
Plus hundreds of pounds of crap in the back at all times.
Oh, and e85 all the time.

My new mirrors heat functiion is not working. :( I see the wires going to the back of the glass. Even used a temp gun. I guess these run off the fuse for the rear defogger? I will check that.

Fuse was missing. I replaced it but still no dice. I hear the relay kicking in and I have power through the fuse. Guess I'm gonna have to check power in the door harness at the mirror switch and compare the plug on the new mirror to the old one I saved. And check wire colors etc.
