And if you have the tool, (Lisle makes a small cheap one) it's almost as easy to remove. Just an 1/8th turn of the tool and pull the tube out. No having to remove the spring clip with a pick and hoping it doesn't go flying somewhere never to be found!

This fitting type is called a Jiffy-tite fitting and is used on just about all makes/models of automobiles.

I'd think it would be fine. Might have a little more noise or/and heat, but I don't think it would be much more noticeable.

More noise in either of mine is unpossible.

I never understood why manufactures use restrictors in coolant hoses versus just using a smaller diameter port and hose

Which line needs this added? I have one that goes the the overflow reservoir, and a smaller one that goes over the the right head.

I believe it's the line that runs to the top of the overflow/reservoir tank.

I'm a lttle miffed about tire balancing. After THREE tries, it's pretty close, but not totally vibration free at 80. Wilst crawlingb through th desert, i had the windows down because of nice temps. What do i hear, clank clank clank, as the center caps rattle. I ended up pulling them off. I found what i feared, 11 of 12 of the spacers were missing. Now I have to make some. or stack some washers.

Funny story coming home from Big Bend. I passed a State Trooper going the opposite direction. about 5 minutes later, i see him coming up behind me. He follows me a few miles then lights up. Hmmm.

The entir car opens up and a bunch of guys jumped out. WTH, they're usually solo. I ended up talking with just one, but the others are looking all over and pointing at my obvious off road an overlanding adds. He was very young, so I'm guessing it was a training cruse for the lot. I forgot to ask.

The gent I'm talking with is convinced I'm with an agency. He spent five minutes trying to determine which one. He finally asks if I got thecopcar at an auction or something. I told him I had bought it from you guys.

At the end he did finally mention I was going over the limit just a bit.

Yes. On PPVs the center caps are bolted on independently of the lug nuts. The wheels can be dismounted with the caps still in place.
