Agreed, I have never used my spare, and took it off a few years ago just because it was 10+ years old. I do have AAA so that helps me a bit.

But, I'd love to get a nice set like that for the winter!

As for me, I just picked up mobil 1 syn oil and a filter at walmart and changed the oil before it gets too cold.
What wheels you have on it now?

22" esky reps in black. Like everywhere else, we have a lot of potholes and I wouldn't mind a set with more sidewall and didn't care if I hit a curb
Don't know what reps are. Are those stock esky wheels?

I’d be leery of 13 year old tires. Got a close up of the date code?

The plastic cladding was fairly common on the lower trim packages, if I recall.
Interesting

Guess it really depends on what the plan is with those wheels and tires.

Ditching the tires and mounting some slicks or drag radials for track use?

The ones on there I’m going to turn into smoke. I’ll get two cheap tires to use for doughnuts next spring maybe. When I have the spare money I’ll get two drag radials for the other pair

I’m running all terrains on the stock 20” that do really well in the snow so I don’t need a set dedicated for winter use

My neighbor gave me the original set of winter wheels and tires that came with my 2007. My Grandad, the PO of mine gave them to him quite a few years ago. I’ll post pictures when I get back out in the garage. Its weird that the wheels are the same wheel the spare tire/PPV uses, but they have these fake chrome plates fixed to them. Rubber is In pretty okay shape, about 1/3 life left, aside from being 13 years old. I plan to use these wheels as burners, or maybe I can find a drag radial that will work.
Those look just like the ppv rims. They even have the 3 screw holes to hold the ppv center cap on.

Yeah. Once I have the disposable income, I’d like to get a PPV or really any 2wd to turn into a drift car. I’d run esky 22s in the front with sticky nittos and then either hybrid 18s or these ppv 17s in the rear with cheap burners.

Unfortunately, old tires make very poor burnout tires. Hardly any billowy white smoke. [emoji107][emoji3525]

You should meet one of my neighbors at the back corner of my property.
Classic narcissist.

All about him, and how dare i mow my lawn while he is outside.
And clearly I'm doing it purposely because of narcissist reasons.

I have pretty thick skin, and carry a large stick (with a permit of course). lol

Also Gives me stories to tell :D
I watched my neighbor toss a cigarette butt over the fence into my horse pasture while he was out checking his mail. It had been dry for a month and 90-110 degrees during that week.
Since it had been so hot I had to wait until 8:30-9pm before it was cool enough to weed whip that edge of my fence row. At least that’s the best I came up with in the event “someone” were to complain. Stihl was running wide open but my noise cancelling headphones were in, so it was quiet even that late at night.

Might need to up your pre-launch inspection process.
Checked lights and air, but you’re right. Main issue is that the whole trailer was a POS from when he bought it 5 years ago, and doesn’t even have suspension. Bearings failed because they get the shit beat out of them. No big deal, I’ll just buy my own proper trailer next year. This garage door trailer did see frequent use.
