Well I ordered the superseded number of what the manual recommends. 10-4016. 4qts. Also ordered the bracket for the tranny cooler. Need the cooler and maybe lines. Need to check the lines.

Yes, I do my own installs and tuning. BTR stage 1 truck cam, Kooks 1 7/8, PRC ported heads, afe intake. Took about 1 second off the 0-60. It was unbearable to drive stock with the 5.3, it at least has some decent power now. What's interesting is the AFE intake threw the tune off more than any of the other mods. It made it go lean by 15%. Probably from moving the maf.

If I still have it in a few years, I will throw the 6.2 in, but this is fine for now.

Installed Arnott 2708 rear air shocks. Oem were blown bags.
Found my front sway bar links were gone. Rusted, etc

Installed links meant for a safari van. Seemed right size- they were in the parts bin. They fit and front bite is waay better.

Mechanic said front hubs will eventually need replacing. I could not detect any looseness, but he is the pro. He has an 08 Denali XL....

I added night pics of the lights to my build thread. Also changed the LR door lock actuator with the ac delco one. Good as new.

added led puddle lights and license plate lights.
