Replaced the front pads and rotors....started getting a vibration when braking hard like when coming off the highway two weeks ago, and squeal from the indicator only 5 days ago...no idea they were this bad, wasn't having any issues until the vibration.

New G5's came in. Everything works great. Not blacked out anymore, but I'm ok with it tbh. 8 years of blacked out is enough. They don't have too much of a gap in the seam, but it's not perfect that's for sure. Overall, I'm happy with them.

You do have to place your (resistor?) Somewhere, this spot seemed good and has plenty of clearance inside. @goodinblack sent me a spare a while back and that is where it was placed. The adhesive held up nice so I'm hopeful with this one as well.

That's exactly where I put mine. Held up so far after 5 months. Ironically, I just tinted mine, lol. No pics yet. Still need to polish out the orange peel.

Yeah, I planned on it a while back, then said screw it.... I'll get there eventually.....hahaha
No excuse not to do it, really, especially for a black truck. I picked up a cheap pair on here, used. They were already black (close enough to Carbon Flash Metallic for me). I did have to polish out some scuffs (they were cheap). But once that was done, it took maybe 10 minutes to put them on. Almost as easy as my air freshener mod. :D

Finally stopped my V1 from rattling all the time, I have subwoofers in the back and the V1 always rattles if it is fully seated in the clip so I used some foam packing for a while but the real fix is those little felt stick on padded feet, now I can all the other rattles, lol
it sure made the ride much nicer now the rattle was rather annoying

I couldn’t figure how to remove that mirror, that’s when the glass broke.
Managed to get the mirror door off yours and onto mine. Efff that again. Nothing broke, but it was a pita to try and push up and out with how the foam is molded around it. Think I just got lucky the tabs didn't break.

Works like a charm now though!

P.s. my mirror is broke in the identical spot and almost the same split as yours. Told the wife to deal with it since she broke it in the fist place.....[emoji16]

Drove it to breakfast this morning. Noticed my dash lights not coming on. Mess with the light dial and dic, nothing. Mileage and gear selection not on either. Drives like normal. No check engine light or codes. Any ideas?

Pic was at a stop light idling.....

Same happened to me. There is a resistor on the cluster board that controls the lights. You need to find a shop that can repair or you need a new cluster. Wish I had better news. I opted for a used cluster from eBay.

Welp, sadly you are right. Wasn't a fuse. Guess I'll be searching for a cluster

With that, what is everyones thoughts on used, vs repaired, or remanufactured. I found this and feel like I can trust dorman over taking a gamble on a repair or used.
