It makes noise intermittently with the 5w-40 Rotella T6 but I don’t know the detailed specs beyond that. Not loud like when you think of a lifter tick. But you do hear a tap tap tap noise when its doing it and you’re next to a wall like in a drivethru.Ok, got it. What's the Viscosity Index of the oil you are using? Do you have the ASTM D445 and D4683/D4741 specs?
What were you using previously (if you know) when the lifter was making more noise?
would it turn off if you disconnect the wires ? or CEL?I’ll just turn it off here in two weeks that way the VOLM solenoids never need to function at all. Hopefully delete it ASAP
Not so easy. There is a plug-in module, made by Range, that can be used to disable it using OBDII. Or, a tuner, such as Black Bear Performance, can turn it off.would it turn off if you disconnect the wires ? or CEL?
like the V-8-6-4 days?
Most hand helds can turn it off. Diablo, etcNot so easy. There is a plug-in module, made by Range, that can be used to disable it using OBDII. Or, a tuner, such as Black Bear Performance, can turn it off.
I'm going to plug in my HP Tuners cable and turn it off that way.would it turn off if you disconnect the wires ? or CEL?

Lmao. Hey did you fix your visor?Don't forget to check the dipstick! [emoji41]
I didn't do anything but drive it but I did find some new information I didn't know about, went out and looked at mine and sure enough there is a dimple in the plastic

I always thought you had to try and get the panel off from inside somehow, this is a lot easierI almost wanna drill mine and plug it at home so if I'm out somewhere and it fails, I won't need to worry with a drill or anything. I found some plugs with an embossed texture on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Snap...SWZ6Y6YMZDR&psc=1&refRID=58E6TKBGJSWZ6Y6YMZDR
Although I'd be one to get a metal electrical knockout plug and spray paint it or polish it for dat billet look, yo :

Not yet, I just needed the flap that folds down and covers the mirror. Just need to disassemble it and install it in mine. Gonna try this weekend when I'm off.Lmao. Hey did you fix your visor?

I couldn’t figure how to remove that mirror, that’s when the glass broke. Not yet, I just needed the flap that folds down and covers the mirror. Just need to disassemble it and install it in mine. Gonna try this weekend when I'm off.
Knowing the General, and their stupidity, I would prob only drill a 1/2” hole..... 1 1/6 seems excessive....I almost wanna drill mine and plug it at home so if I'm out somewhere and it fails, I won't need to worry with a drill or anything. Replaced the front pads and rotors....started getting a vibration when braking hard like when coming off the highway two weeks ago, and squeal from the indicator only 5 days ago...no idea they were this bad, wasn't having any issues until the vibration.

I was thinking the same, there must be some room for error in that 1"+ hole, or that is the size of cap they typically have floating around.Knowing the General, and their stupidity, I would prob only drill a 1/2” hole..... 1 1/6 seems excessive....
