I’ll just turn it off here in two weeks that way the VOLM solenoids never need to function at all. Hopefully delete it ASAP

It makes noise intermittently with the 5w-40 Rotella T6 but I don’t know the detailed specs beyond that. Not loud like when you think of a lifter tick. But you do hear a tap tap tap noise when its doing it and you’re next to a wall like in a drivethru.

Not so easy. There is a plug-in module, made by Range, that can be used to disable it using OBDII. Or, a tuner, such as Black Bear Performance, can turn it off.
Most hand helds can turn it off. Diablo, etc

I'm going to plug in my HP Tuners cable and turn it off that way.
I didn't do anything but drive it but I did find some new information I didn't know about, went out and looked at mine and sure enough there is a dimple in the plastic

Not yet, I just needed the flap that folds down and covers the mirror. Just need to disassemble it and install it in mine. Gonna try this weekend when I'm off.

I couldn’t figure how to remove that mirror, that’s when the glass broke.

Replaced the front pads and rotors....started getting a vibration when braking hard like when coming off the highway two weeks ago, and squeal from the indicator only 5 days ago...no idea they were this bad, wasn't having any issues until the vibration.

Ha! It's 95. I work in the Mid-Atlantic so I'm between Richmond and Baltimore a couple times a month.
I was thinking the same, there must be some room for error in that 1"+ hole, or that is the size of cap they typically have floating around.
