Yeah, no.

So I swapped back in the old tail lights and they work. Dash still is not on. Going to check the fuse and see if they are burnt out. I figure that is probably the issue since the harness was bad.
GM clusters have historically been kinda tempermental. Stepper motors on GMT400/800 and lights on GMT900
Make sure you check the oil on your dipstick first, tho

I had to have a mobile guy come out and fix my cluster a while back cuz the DIC got dim on it where we could read the gear selector or the miles.

By his logic, he just adds fluid whenever a light comes on. He's not gonna know what to do when a light is off.

Chooch, add a quart of blinker fluid and report back.
Oh shit, I can't see if the blinker fluid light is on?! WTH will I ever do....... What does the blinker fluid symbol look like.....

Let me know. At least it wasn't $400.

the original seller messaged me back they said they could sell me a regulator for $19.99 or replace the alt with a new one for $119, I think I have to send the core back but i'm going to just get a new one from them then

Thanks for the info. I'll just be prepared to buy another one when my inevitable time comes LOL. Still less than $400...

Left my cooler in the back from the weekend, and low and behold, I get home to this yesterday. I couldn't figure out where the water was coming from, then it hit me. And the carpet is all just slightly wet from the continuous drip of melting ice. I hope it dries out fine.

Big dummy me.

Luckily, it seems all the electronics and amps are dry.

Wet carpet is my least favorite thing to deal with in cars. When I had leaking windows in my S10 I had pulled the carpet and put it in the spare bedroom with the heat on as high as it would go, and then a dehumidifier running all the time. Crazy how much water the dehumidifier sucked out of that thing

Rear cargo liner (Husky/WeathsrTech) would've prevented this... Lol

Actually, a non-broken cooler would've prevented this.... Throw that shit out and get a new one.... Lol

Is it parked on a hill? How'd it get all the way to the front?

Hopefully it dries out. Its mid 80s here in nc and I left the fronts cracked for some air ventilation, so hopefully that helps.

I do have weather techs for the entire truck, but I have the rear cut out for the 3rd row seats, so the water still made it out.

And yes, my driveway is angled and that's how it made it to the front.

gas is cheap. Could run heater and defrost on as high as itll go front and rear and leave windows cracked. Evaporate all the moosture and defrost sucks it out
