My Lund Catch-All floor mats arrived today. I wanted something more rugged than stock, but not Husky-style rubber ones. These are basically carpet mats with a molded edge to contain spills, dirt, grass clippings and leaves. The pile is shorter than factory mats for ease of cleaning. But they match pretty well. We'll see how they hold up.

ordered a new ground cable, had a stored dtc for the battery sensor, i guess this is the new design with a quick release? $55 on ebay, dealer wants $200+, amazon and rockauto were both $105, ebay wins p/n: 22759056

Lifted it, then lowered it...

It's been so long since I've been under a car on a lift that it was a bit nerve-wracking. I made myself stay under it to inspect the underside from all angles. I can comfortably walk fully upright underneath it. The only ducking spots are the lift's arms. Pretty damned satisfied about that.

Even with as much time as I've spent under my Tahoe on a creeper or flat on the concrete, it was like a whole new world. For the most part, I'm very pleased with what I found: The welds on the muffler and exhaust tubing look pretty much like the day I welded them, I found no "new/unknown" leaks and I'm kinda thinking that my rear main seal might not be leaking after all and it's just the oil pan gasket.
