LOL!!! :signs8:

My wife comes to me yesterday and says "What have you done to the Tahoe because it runs and drives so great??? It's awesome to drive with it!". I was like WTF??? Wonder where's this going...???

She then continues on saying that when she drove it back home from the dealer when we bought it, it felt so much different and kind of all over the place.

Then it hit me! She's probably talking about the way it drives now with the AFM disabled and a few other minor tweaks from the Diablo tuner. I don't think the AFM was acting that bad, but definitely noticeable. It's nice to know that at least sometimes I do something right... :Big Laugh:

Let's just hope it continues to drive that well for quite some time. I got a bit tired of all the issues I was fighting with earlier this year on her 07.

Heck yea tsuintx with the afm gone and just a tweek on my transmission from a tuner made a noticeable difference on mine. The techs always saying how much nicer it is to drive vs stock ones.

Got my b5100s in now just waiting on the tires . When i got the box from amazon i thought they sent me the yellow 4600s since that was the picture on the box and got a little upset, but i did open it just to make sure and it was the 5100s haha.

Little pricey and i know i can make it i just don’t have the time....

Yea, i hear ya looks simple to do and can use better material. But the guy selling it made a good decision on making and selling this for stock applications.

These are the "rear" shock extenders i got from supreme suspension on amazon. But when the tech went to put them on they didnt fit. So my Q is: are these for the front or a silverado?

It took a week, but I painted the grill surround to match body color, and blackened out the bow tie. Will get better pictures tomorrow, but here's one for now. Not too bad for rattle can GM paint.

Part number or whatever for that paint? I'm under then impression that Graystone Metallic in aerosol can is hard to come by and/or it doesn't match very well. Yours looks great! You mind posting a close-up comparing the part you painted to the factory part? Did you use any clear or is it a single stage?

I got the paint through Amazon, I attached a picture of the cap with the part number. I used epoxy primer, sandable primer, paint, and I used dupli color clear coat. I think I may try and find a better clear coat though. I will get a close shot tomorrow, it turned out almost a perfect match.

That actually looks pretty good. Something to consider for my wife's Tahoe, too.

The only thing is that I probably wouldn't trust myself enough to do the painting, and paying somebody to do it would sort of defeat the purpose... I would need to get a separate cheap (IF they exist...) grill first and do a practice run.
