Yeah I will try to buff the small scratches out and use touch up for now to get through the winter. I will get it painted before the summer hits.

Don't worry you're not alone, someone kissed a yellow pole in almost the same exact mine before i bought it. like 90% of it buffed out, but I still know its there and it bothers me lol

Changed the oil and rotated the tires.

Tires are wearing evenly (pressures are where they need to be but I could go a little higher in the front), right rear tread is worn slightly more than the rest (I need a real LSD so the left rear wears the same:D).

I also ran about 8oz. of MMO and 8oz. of Seafoam for 36 miles prior to changing the oil. I don't know if this was long enough or a strong enough ratio to do anything, but it's what I had and figured it was better than just trashing it.

It didn't appear to do anything, but maybe my engine is just clean inside. I mean, it hasn't had any lifter tap since I used Pennzoil Platinum on that last oil change, so maybe it cleaned out whatever was making them stick.

Oil with 6K on it, it's about 1/2 a quart low:

Oil after 8oz. of Seafoam and 8oz. of MMO, ran for 36 miles:

I can't tell a difference in the color of the oil. So, either my concoction cleaned out nothing or there was nothing for it to clean out. Before I ever started it for that 36 mile trip to go pick up a filter, I popped out the oil filler neck to see inside the valve cover. It was beautiful in there.

My new favorite oil (peep that Airaid:thumbsup:):

Oh- for all of you BITOG guys, I'm not interested in debating Seafoam vs. MMO vs. "additive X" vs. "nothing". I saw the two half empty bottles of MMO and Seafoam and figured it couldn't hurt. I have trans fluid I could've dumped in there as well, but I wasn't shooting for anything like that. I did a little digging to see if either should NOT be used and if either was better than the other. I didn't find anything concrete so I mixed 'em. No harm, no foul, more shelf space.

Pics or it didn't happen

Uploading as we speak. Also uploading a video with tune as well. Really shifted nice and crisp once I added the tuner, the intakenis way louder in the truck, and seems to hold gears a little longer.

Check my build thread in like .5 minutes

Did the version 2 g5 tails. Not sure if I like them yet.

They are different but I don't hate them. The vertical lines with the slight curve give it some dimension errr uniqueness lol.

Got a link by chance?

Can't remember if you have OEM or Esky appliqués?

Yesterday, I retrieved the daylight sensor out from under the dash, I guess the last person to fix the crack left it dangling. I am new to the NNBS so bear with me, are the clear bulbs next to the amber bulbs the daytime running lights?

^Yes.

Replaced my drivers side window and window sweep (severe scratches) then got both front windows tinted. Now waiting on my BFC retro to be finished up and shipped!

New tire is on, thankfully the rim was not bent. New wheel well guard came in today (installing tomorrow) rear tail light harness is installed all was looking good until today. I will try to fill in the best I can with touch-up. I don't feel like dropping another $500 to paint the bumper. Next time this happens I will aim for a tree or a wall and have insurance handle it!

Just spent 8 hours last weekend repairing something just like this on my wife's LaCrosse. Was a paint but it paid off, used nothing more than duplicolor perfect match and 3M sandpaper. Turned out great.
