How do you like the Putco light?

Can you post some pics?

I did my conversion myself with turn signals built in.
I like the light in general I just wanted it in red, I ordered a 10' roll of red tint which is of course way more than I need but it was only $23, I will post some pics once I have the tint, it will probably be over a week before I can do anything else anyway since the truck will be in the shop at least a week waiting on the insurance company to send there adjuster and getting parts, etc.

That just ain't right. Its gotten over freezing once in a week here. This ain't right.
Thanks for the idea @Galante and @guy from norcal

I actually did a mix of cooking oil and acetone (thought I had some ATF but didn't). About an 80/20 mix of vegetable oil to acetone broke them loose.

If anyone wants to know, the WD40 specialist rust penetrant didn't work at all. Two days of soaking the bolts, hitting them with an impact in both directions did nothing.

Hmmm... I have a quart of acetone and a 3 gallon bucket of lightly-used ATF in the shop. I should mix some into a spray bottle.

So, I have been driving with the updated valve cover design for sometime now and my oil consumption & oil leaks are gone.

I also ordered a set of tow mirrors that have all the same features for the most part as my current mirrors. The driver-side mirror broke in the car wash and now vibrates while going down the road. This should help when pulling the camper as the stock mirrors annoyed me compared to my Megacab's mirrors :)

Replaced a squeaking ac/heater blower motor under the passenger dash. Took a whole 15mins.

Changed to Sylvania cool white plate LED, the ones I put in 2 weeks ago already started flickering. These are less bright which I like.

Also added projector LED in the reverse lights, I can see through the tint backing at night now. So far so good, they’re super bright.

Replaced the quick disconnects on the heater hoses. I replaced them a couple years ago and had one start leaking the other day. I thought it was just a hose clamp but when I went to replace it the whole nipple broke off where it had become brittle and cracked so I replaced both of them. When I replaced them a couple years ago I replaced the T- fitting quick disconnects as well. I sure wish someone made these out of brass or some other metal, this plastic stuff just doesn't seem to hold up very well.

I have pondered the idea of getting rid of all the Q disconnects and running a brass T fitting but it wouldn't be very clean. If I didn't have rear heat I would just flare the ends of the heater core nipples and slide a hose over them and forget about it.

Anyone know of a better solution???

no but I can never get those things to come off I always have to just cut them off with wire cutters or a hacksaw
