I have read but not seen that this was an option. It came to my attention when looking at remotes for many did not have the option to pop the back glass. If they all have it, then I reckon those remotes were from some other application.
it's probably just a remote thing, all these trucks have the electronic button to pop the glass open as far I know

nope just the rear hatch might be because if you accidently hit it you have to get out and go shut it

I understand your point but I never had an issue with accidentally hitting the rear window button in my old '87 S-10 Blazer.

I also have never accidentally hit the lift gate button in the overhead console.

On the other hand I can understand how it would be kind of redundant since there is a switch out back.

Changed the oil last night, the old stuff was dark, who knows when it was changed..
Also christened my new concrete driveway when the oil missed my 15qt pan, yup 15qt and I still missed..

Fixed my Exhaust leak...used a DORMAN 917-107 Exhaust Manifold Clamp

Also toyed with some polish and wax on the hood... looks like I'll probably need to claybar the whole vehicle, it's been a while since I've owned a large vehicle, I need stilts and a ladder now to detail this thing.

Oh and the best of all..for my kids, generic IR headphones work perfectly! best $18 I spent

Ok, all. I now have a second Hoe in my stable (it joined my 1999 2-door 4WD LS) - a Topaz Metallic Blue 2012 4WD LS (that I'm slowly converting to a Z71 model). It has 107K on it and it looks in great condition. Here is what I have done to it (and oh boy, does my credit card company love me RN! LOL!)

  • New General Grabber SXT tires all around with four-wheel alignment (new spare tire, too, the old one was totally shit*y)
  • Upgraded ALL light bulbs to LEDs (interior and exterior)
  • New Bilstein shocks and shocks/struts
  • New polyurethane motor and suspension mounts
  • New polyurethane control arm bushings
  • New drive belt
  • New radiator and heater hoses
  • K&N CAI w/ matching MAF sensor
  • New wiper blades
  • ProStop vented, cross drilled and slotted discs with HD pads and powder coated red calipers
  • Ballistic cordura car seats, front and back
  • New center arm rest cover
  • Lockable safe in center console - lower fixed seat portion
  • New JVC touchscreen stereo and new speakers
  • VIPER alarm system
  • Magnaflow 50 series dual exhaust system
  • BBK polished shorty headers
  • ALL fluids flushed
  • New TPM sensors
  • Z71 badges and instrument gauge cluster
  • Black billet bowties, front and back
  • Dark tint all around
  • Weather-tech laser cut floor mats, front and back
  • New velour dash mat
  • Pedal Commander accelerator pedal controller (what a difference!)
  • Full detail job
I'll post some pics once I have a few more small things done....this shit is a journey and never a destination!
