Suburban decided to give me lots of love today, CEL for Catalytic Converters, can actively hear the cats rattling at idle, have something loose in the suspension causing vibration while driving down the freeway and a creaking noise over bumps and a lower ball joint decided to rip it boot and leak grease all over the inside of my SS rim.

Going to be a fun long weekend of fixing parts :banghead:

Catalytic Converters are confirmed going bad, wobble in the front end ended up being a tire going bad (older tire) and the creaking noise was a swaybar link bolt that somehow backed up a bit. Should all be fixed soon, just need to find some CARB compliant Hi-Flow cats that are reasonably priced.

I was looking at the flowmaster hi flow cats they looked decent. Or the ARH cats. But i went oem, but with install from a shop, the price was going to be about the same, and my connector was leaking anyway and chevy thought they messed up the bolt, so I lucked up there.

That sucks. Cats are just a problem waiting to happen.

On a positive note, took the Suburban to a local Hot Rod show and got quite a lot of compliments. Funny thing was she wasn't even in the show, I just parked near a group of cars since it was in a parking lot at a local Waffle shop! lmao

Of course she was all polished up and looking like a Rose out there :)

1" springs showed up for the front, hopefully going to attack the 3/5" drop soon!
