This something I wondered about before... could there be a solution found in wrapping the muffler in something dense and heat resistant to absorb the sound waves and calm down the drone?
My stock muffler + SLP setup had drone at some highway speeds, not with my AP muffler. Right after I got the SLP I contemplated a dense heat wrap or something. Anyway, just brainstorming.

On a different subject, my moldings are kinda beat up. Thought about replacing them or repainting them and now, the first time I've ever considered demolding. Anybody got pics of dark colored, leveled Yukons without moldings?

Sorry to hear this, brother. I was really wondering about the drone with BW after removing the resonator.
I remember driving around 25 years ago with a Borla cat back that droned like all hell. I loved it at the time.

done deal. Ordered a Gearstar Level 4 transmission with the new Sonex Smart Drum assembly. Also ordered a Yank SC series torque converter. Both being built to order. Once TC built, they shipping to GS and they are going to install and Test the components together before they ship it to me. All i got to do is drop mine, Swap the PML deep pan over and get a new tune from Black Bear.

Dunno mine is pretty loud, but i think i Appreciate the Whine from the Supercharger more.
How much action does a third brake light get anyway?If it is full width LED for that price it must be great quality

Color matched OEM front and rear mudflaps. I heard too many gripes about putting them on with power running boards but it wasn't even close to difficult. Whether I like the look or not (I don't mind it at all) it looks a lot better than shredded black paint on the side of an Escalade.

Looks good, but I think that I'm gonna stick with my mouldings. Too worried about painting a door instead of just painting mouldings.

I was, but I had to compromise with the significant other. Eventually they may mysteriously fall off.Looks good kenny.....
Pull the tahoe letters though.....

We all know what happens when the compromise is not met. Not to say they couldn't just fall off though... no harm, no foul there.

How is this a compromise moment ? Its basically free and it save the paint from getting ruined by the dirt that collects behind them, it's for the safety of the paint

That hot summer heat was just too much for the crappy adhesive and it was falling off too much and could have caught on something making it a safety hazard.....
