Oh yeah and i ordered a range afm delete thing.....for now until i figure out if im gonna tune it or what....then ill just sell it!the range.....cant wait to shut off that v4 ******** for good.....

When i just bought the truck, i thought something was wrong. The AFM causes too many issues to only be worth ~1mpgOh yeah and i ordered a range afm delete thing.....for now until i figure out if im gonna tune it or what....then ill just sell it!the range.....cant wait to shut off that v4 ******** for good.....

It works great ive had one for a couple months now. The afm switched on and off way to much in my hilly location and was driving me nuts.

I think you will be happier once you aren't hunting for that go fast gear.

Interesting. I've never noticed the AFM in terms of drivability one way or the other.
I think you will be happier once you are hunting for that go fast gear.
I know a tune will make me happier but i think since its not a DD and for now this will help my stttuuuutttterrr......

I figure since ive been seeing it at $125ish, $96 was better with free shipping and if the black tip comes back in stock i will order it and as long as (hopefully) inlet/outlet are close in size ill swap tips and maybe sell chrome one. I think amazon had it for same price, not sure about shipping or prime though. Fyi
Very annoying to me, i can feel it swap back and forth, maybe im just sensitive to it but i feel it stutter and lag when i hit the gas.
Gonna slap new grille on and rotate tires.
It must be a 5.3 thing. I have a 6.2 and don't notice it at all.
