What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Swapped some switches today. Now I need enough pigtail to use them. Or additional pins with tails to add.

Why did you want to swap the cover?

I have an 07 with the outdated/oil consuming valve cover. This is the updated version that's supposed to help stop drinking oil like a fish.

Well after trying to figure out my brake issue the front hub started making little noise today. Guess that could be the issue. Bought the moog hub and it lasted just over a year

Whats the better one thatll last more then a year atleast. delco, dorman or timkin?

I’ve put Timken SP500301 hubs on both of mine.

Same advice as last time, Timken, they were the OE supplier at one time, or still are.

Seems like everyone swears by timken here. @07Burb, recommendation? Didn't you replace your red one with timken?

Thanks. Had timkin on my 05 didnt have it long enough to know how long itd of lasted. I probably should of skipped a sale on moog and went with timkin.

Timken.

Swapped out struts in the front and replaced the sway bar links. Spring compressors I bought were rock solid.

Went AC Delco for both.

Swapped the valve cover this morning. Took about 30-45 minutes. I forgot to take a pic of the inside, but it wasn't too bad imo. Outside was nasty af though. I'll take pics tomorrow and post them up.

Good work Phil. Torque on those valve cover bolts is a measly 106 in lb or a bit over 8 ft lbs.
