I was looking around Surf City's site the other day and they've got some stuff they claim is even better than clay bar and easier to use. I may give it a try

One must maintain good suction.

Funny thing is for as thin as that little wire is, it sure does have one hell of a dramatic effect on performance.

Also ordered some LED fog lights. I should have them by the end of the week.

It will be ok brent. Calm down. Take a deep breath. Relax. Just breath buddy. Now listen carefully.

"In a whispering voice" "its ok brent, these vehicles are actually made to get a lil dirt on them!"

Haha agree with eric, looks good with a lil dirt...

I went with these but chose the high power option which is 800 lumens. Of coarse I got the white colored ones(the pink was out of stock). I have got all off my lights from him. He's a good guy to work with. Answers all my questions, is quick to ship out. I have not had any issues with him. And he's a forum sponsor so we get a discount. I've been very pleased with everything I have received from him.

They should match up to my Sylvania ZXEs pretty well.

Just took the power washer to it and got all the mud off it. Mostly caked on mud in the wheel wells and running boards. Just washed off the driveway and during lunch it will be washed and wheels swapped.

But have to agree does look pretty good with some mud on it but I think it will be the last.

I bought these same ones warm white and higher power I believe. They are more like a 6k than a 5k...didn't match my sylvania's all that well. I'm interested to see how yours match.

I hope they are closer than the factory lights that are in there now.

I hope so, too. That was my hope on mine but honestly, mine ended up being just as far off as they were before, in the opposite direction (more blue). Mine would also match the factory HID's in my dad's 2010 SS Camaro pretty close, that's about the color of mine.

Damn, that's not really what I'm wanting to hear. On his site they don't list a kelvin rating for the fogs(at least not that I found). They just show a standard power and a high power with the lumen output for each and then a choice of color. I went with the high power white, not the cool white.

I called and talked with Dante', he said the cool white would put out a "blueish look" and told me to go with the white. He said they should have an "HID appearance" to them. He asked what headlight bulbs I was running and told me they should be close. They should be here Thurs. I'll let you know how it turns out.

If all else fails I'll buy his HID kit for the low beams.:banghead:
