Darn tricky newfangled contraptions and their fancy eletronicals!

Glad it was easily fixed.
I actually had a similar situation with my interior lights when I first got mine. Didn't know there was a button to turn them off, actually spent the first couple months without them and just used the aftermarket dome light when I needed it which wasn't very often anyway. Lol

The fact that NNBS suvs became the go-to for this makes me sick. I see the maroon mr. 'hoe' regularly.

That dumb as hell trend needs to die!!!!!!!!! To say the least, was happy to read about one of the Carolina Governors (they are all the same-just a different face) signed into law a ban on "Carolina Squat/Cali Lean" BS....Seeing the corners are hard enough but for FVKSAKE-looking skyward is ridiculous. Guess I am getting old and grumpy-well, at least old!! SMH!!!

I got a good look at the roof patina of theothertwin this afternoon. Nice and even, except where the light bar was.
First time I’ve ever seen the top of a PPV. Look at those fancy antennas!

That’s the “Carolina Lean”, or so I learned a couple years back when I went down to NC in order to repair my rental house for the sale. Looking back I wish I had just burnt the house to the ground and never had learned what that meant.

The automotive equivalent of sagging your pants so the whole world can see your underwear…
I think you are absolutely right. Hit the effin nail on head with that one!

North Carolina just passed a law that makes that illegal. It remains to be seen how vigorously they enforce it. South Carolina has a similar law making its way through the legislature. This stupidity can't go away fast enough.

EDIT: Seriously, of all the stupid, embarrassing things SC is known for, the squat has got to be the worst. None of the post-hurricane, mumu-wearing, cigarette puffing, semi-toothless television interviewees can hold a candle to a shot of squatted trucks driving by. And this is coming from a South Carolinian!

I forgot to mention they all come equipped with straight piped exhausts and dual 6" exits on the corners or right under the hitch aimed at the ground. Hot boi trucks that are loud as sin with a 0-60 of 15 seconds out of every red light. Woohoo.
Its not like these trucks are slippery through the air-adding that big A$$ wind deflector (underside of engine bay) has to be helpful with fuel economy...The look of them seems like they got short-changed on a lift kit and too stupid to notice!

Got my new thrust bearing today.

good news is i didn't install it backwards!

bad news is, i don't know why it died.

I had end play perfect, converter spacing was a bit on the loose spec, but good.
Maybe i have my line pressures too high?
Maybe something is wrong with the converter?

Maybe i have too much pressure for the lockup clutches?

Ugg!

and i'm making some oiling mods i found on the mahale site, and some others.

Mahale says to the upper bearing only.
So i'm doing that.

idea is to get pressurized oil to the the thrust surface.

Reapplied lipstick on a tow-pig.
Got her a new receiver cover.
My old Magpul sticker never fit well, and has gotten a bit torn over the years.

Plus it's like a bright light to moths who want to peek inside your truck for bangbang goodies, and may be tempted to hurl a rock through a window to find out; screams out, "I might have left expensive stuff in here."
