He drives the 06 Sierra Denali but also, since he works a distance from home.... 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage and a Yamaha R3

Lol at a "car guy" driving a Mirage. But, I get the "sensible commuter car" aspect. The sport bike kinda makes up for that . I'm a fan of Mitsubishi with it being one of the last true Japanese brands. Not the most refined, but cheap and reliable. Jenn has an '11 Outlander Sport. It's a total buzzbox that rides like shit. But I'm confident in its reliability and it has more space than a Corolla.

I know there are a few other guys here with sensible commuters. Well, I have to use "sensible" loosely when referring to that one "guy" with the Fusion...

Well, I'm not sure if I'm in good company or not!

Although, the Fusion hasn't been out in a couple of weeks, due to no driving commute at the moment. Back to working from home, walking commute, and giving the Hoe some exercise from time to time.
Nuthin wrong with that. At least you’re working.

Yes, I'm very thankful for that. Working for an ISP/broadband/cable provider we have more than we can handle, although I'm not on the front lines any more. Hard to get enough time to get my deck finished, though.
I used to work for one of those many years ago, early 2000's, can't remember exactly. Offered TV and internet. Worked in the NOC

Lol

I didn't even read that in your sig until just now. And I was wrong about it being a Fusion. She actually pedals a C-Max.

He gave up his 96 Impala to move us from PA to CO, and has plans to buy either a 09 - 12 CTS-V, or an 09 G8 GXP. Just need a house first, lol.

its a bad mofo.

after my last junker got rear ended/totalled, i was driving yukon back and forth to work, with e85 i was literally having to put gas in it every other day. i was holding out trying to find a nice ls3 vette for the price i wanted to pay. after a few months of waiting one popped up perfect called them told them i was on my way to buy it. by the time i got there someone was already in the finance dept buying it. so i said **** it was over it. wasnt a smart choice anyway since i would be putting abunch of miles on it . test drove a couple of good mpg cars. ended up with this junk. 18k miles ford CPO warranty, because it was CPO they financed it @ like 1.5%.
its comfortable af, seats are great, it sits more like an escape than a fusion, i wish it had cooled seats - theyre only heated :(
lots of room, i really dont carry much anyway but i can fit 4 tires in the back with the seat down.
HOV lane, i charge it at work for free, its sitting at 37.6mpg. thats with driving 110 miles a day at as close to 90 as traffic allows
itll ****** most of the other cheap hybrids with its 2.0L+90kw electric motor
