I would have expected a little more push off the line as well, wish I had more things a damn slug! After efan upgrade report:
Now that I’ve driven her more, I can definitely feel a throttle response improvement.! I think it’s more so at the higher RPM range, which is sort of the opposite of what I expected. And I cannot believe how quiet she is now…! Boy that clutch fan is louder than you think… pic after pumpkin patch, and quickie wash / half a detail, cuz it’s mandatory to post pics..!View attachment 353510
Not sure how many miles were on those plugs. I’m at 150K, bought it with 137k. They were ACDelco plugs but didn’t look to be original. My guess is they were done around 75-100K. I havent driven it yet, just pulled out the garage and parked it in driveway. Seemed to idle a little smoother.Nice! How long since last plug change notice any more pep or mpg
Yours looks pretty level, did you just raise the torsion bars? After efan upgrade report:

Walchit,Had to cut the upper control arm out and buy new bolts, had to buy new sway bar bushings for 28 bucks to get 4 bolts that I couldn't find. I think these ones with bigger heads would have actually worked. Storm came through last night, I had to cut the carpet around my jack and roll it up, lol. I got the torsion bar knocked out on the driver's side, and hopefully I can have this thing back together in a couple more days, lol
Oh and I grabbed this today for 50 bucks, and the dude said he can program my milage for me after I get it installed.
That’s what it’s supposed to do unless you load a lot of weight in the back or with a trailer. The compressor comes on for a few seconds, it comes up a little, the ride height sensors say it’s at the right height, the compressor shuts off.Hello guys
The air ride compressor turns on for about 10 seconds then shuts off. The shocks are oem and fairly new. I put my hand on the air bladder as the compressor was trying to air up the bladders and the compressor shuts off. Does anyone know what might be wrong with air ride the system?
PS. I tested the shock bladders and they are holding air.
I ordered a new air hose kit. I figured buy that before I spend big bucks on the compressor.

I was just about to say pretty much the same comment. After my E-fan install, I immediately noticed my AC blowing a LOT colder at idle and at slower speeds (under 25mph or so). It was almost like I turbocharged my air conditioner. And your A/C will work better since the fan can run at full speed, independently of the engine RPM, pulling maximum airflow through the condenser even if you're idling. I noticed a huge reduction in drag and noise when I switched to an e-fan in my S10.

The problem is that I had a load on it and the compressor did not fill the bladders up.That’s what it’s supposed to do unless you load a lot of weight in the back or with a trailer. They didn’t fill at all or they didn’t raise the truck? If they filled until they feel solid (squeeze test) but didn’t raise it, either the ride height sensors aren’t telling it to raise it more or the compressor is bad.The problem is that I had a load on it and the compressor did not fill the bladders up.
Let us know how the SEM paint holds up.took out the headrests that had TV screens built in to them and installed some JY specials that were the wrong color so I painted them with the SEM system. Look pretty good but they are slightly different headrests. Not really noticeable until you compare them to the captains seat ones in the second row.
Got my oil pan dropped today and that sumbitch is FULL of sludge! Boy am I pissed. I COMPLETELY cleaned this pan out when I replaced the gasket and pickup tube in 2017. Since then I have changed the oil every 5,000 miles with Amsoil XL series oil and either a Mobil1 filter or a Wix XP filter. I'll admit though, the last 2 oil changes I used Mobil1 oil and then Walmart Supertech Full Synthetic for the last oil change. (about 3 months ago). In the bottom of the pan there is a THICK mud like sludge, and on the baffle, there is some hard caked up sludge that is flaking off in chunks kind of like rust. It also has a slight metallic color to it. Can anyone with more insight than me explain WTF is going on here?![]()
