Nice work sir. Hope one doesn’t quit like mine did. Those retrofits don’t like being disassembled. The nuts on the Morimoto projectors lock in place when you tighten them so you have to cut them off and replace the projector bowls. They warrantied the demon eyes but I had to buy new headlights and projector bowls.
Mine is set up with cb&d brackets . 100% bolt on , not lock nut thank god. This is like the 5th time I’ve had them apart . In fact I took them apart and removed the switchback halos just yesterday .

Plugs and wires and attempted to quiet the power steering with a turkey baster and bleeding it. Still groans some. #8 plug was a PITA, finally figured out the best way was just to lay on top of the engine, then it was easy. Old plugs didn’t look terrible, maybe somebody did them in the 145k before I had it...

Why not do the method where you disconnect the return hose, run it into a bucket and flush it completely? You can replace 100% of the fluid that way.

I had my pump replaced and the restored pressure helped out my hydroboost brake performance a bit. The braking improvement was noticeable, and no more pump whine.
Excellent info. I hadn’t even considered this.. mine’s been whining just a little ever since I’ve owned it. It’s been on my list, but I think that comment bumped it up a little...

My mechanic tried some PS magic fluid to see if that would quiet it down, but it didn't do much so I opted for the full pump change. I thought it important with the brakes being integrated, and I was preparing a camping trip and towing a camper a few months later.
