Did you use that AC Delco clutch kit? And did you do it while still on the motor? Mine is a little noisy and would like to go this route.

I used the Four Seasons clutch kit from RockAuto. The AC Delco clutch kit is $170 and the compressor w/clutch is $213. The manufacturers overcharge for the clutch kit because they know it’s more expensive to open the system while replacing the compressor. #NotCool

I did the replacement with the compressor on the motor. Removing the fan shroud made access easier. You can replace just the clutch bearing if your clutch is still in good shape. It’s staked in place but should be easy to press out. I also purchased the bearing separately to replace the noisy one on my Silverado.

Pretty sharp. Any idea how many they made and cost? Any interior mods?
I have no clue how many they made, but iirc the Joe Gibbs hoes are the rarest of the models he modded. I totally spaced the interior but again if memory serves me correctly, it received a custom gauge cluster, dash bezel, special material (can’t recall if it’s suede or leather) where the two tone in the seats usually is and on the door cards by the arm rest.

Couple things I noticed, aside from the obvious ground fx:
- Denali rear bumper
- Escalade vents
- 14” rotors on all 4 corners, the fronts being 2 piece
- 305/50/ 20 tires, which were chunky af on top of them already being nitto 420s, which are a little bigger than normal to begin with
- the front grill looks a lil different than normal. It’s rather flat, more like an hd grill.

Much obliged! Did you say you needed or used a puller to get the old one off?
