Anyone in the market for a low mileage 05 Yukon XL?
https://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/d/2005-yukon-xl-1-owner-garaged/6641439160.html

On another note, after the door lock issue came back I removed the TCB fuse and then pressed down on the brake pedal to kill any remnant of 12v in the truck...since then the issue has not returned. I got the new ground, 12v, and brake switch in today. I am going to go ahead and replace them this weekend, but I won't be making it to Dub Show on Saturday

My Denali has been running rackless for 4 years now just buy some flat headed bolts put silicone on the threads and no issues

Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
I've been rackless for a few months, but decided to reinstall it the other day. Idk if I ran the bolts in too far or what, but now they won't come back out. Just spin... ever happened to anyone else? If so what is the fix?

Maybe pull the headliner down and see if you can get vise-grips on it from underneath to keep it from spinning. Hopefully the rivnut doesn't leak now.

Thanks... I was hoping I wouldn't have to pull the headliner, but I will if necessary
It might be possible to first spray with WD-40 or PB Blaster (you should do this regardless if you haven't already) and try to pull up on the rail any way you can in order to get pressure on the rivnut to keep it from spinning. Maybe get a thin prybar under with something to protect the paint if possible (tape?); pry up and turn the screw at the same time. You have to be careful obviously to not scratch the paint or dent the roof.

I agree with what you’re saying about pressure on rivnit but maybe he should push down on rack so the rack contacts the ‘head’ of the rivnut to keep it from spinning....

The rack is currently off. I put the screws back in after I removed it a few months ago. Now I'm trying to take the screws back out so I can install an esky rack

Oh, you’re ******.....
Kidding, guess what your doing soon.... pulling headliner.... or a pair of needlenose pliers on side of head of rivnut with scratching paint but you may not get a good enuff bite

Part of the BCM main power supply is my understanding, but finny thing it's been what 2 maybe 4 days and no issues... Wonder if the new parts riding shotgun in the truck have anything to do with that lol

I took out my 3rd row, swapped out my JL amp, because it was giving me issues, to a Rockford and added another 12 Pioneer sub box. I tried the MTX sub box, but I dixn't like how it sounded, and tore the foam surround. All in a day's work.

I'm gonna just run the 2 like this for now. Ported box is facing down and the enclosed box is facing the front. I'm gonna see how it sounds and go from there.
