Scored some good stuff at the junkyard on Friday. Got a full console (I had a jump seat) and homelink!

Also got a DDM with power fold so that I can actually use the power fold on these mirrors but it doesn't work properly. Unlock and pass window dont work. Can these switches be taken apart and cleaned?

Lookin good, much better than a jump seat. They make a cubby to replace that rear “entertainment” system

Oh yeah? I was thinking about what I could use that space for. Do you have a link for it?

It’s a very rare piece. Found mine at the salvage yard out of a wrecked SSS

You can take the whole master switch apart and clean the contacts.20180608_162915.jpg 20180608_162922.jpg 20180608_162959.jpg 20180608_163205.jpg 20180608_165744.jpg
Worked for me. If you look close you can see the 1 contact that I cleaned that was giving me trouble. I just cleaned off the corrosion.

That cubby is no longer made. I did the same mod as you. Had a spare cubby but sold it to a fellow member. You can usually find them in the cc pickup trucks with the same center console. I think with the Bose option.

Took it apart this morning and cleaned it up. All is good now! The passenger window and the unlock button did not work on the switch before cleaning.

Fabricate the opening with the switches/plate as a dummy door.... Good place to stash stuff

I will probably make a plate to go there and add a usb outlet or something. Should be fairly simple.
