I've been looking for a pretty long time for something decent and close and not horribly expensive. The stars just happened to align right this time

Haven't really done much to the Yukon lately except drive it all over. It's still the main family ride.

A couple weekends ago we took part in a back road cruise to Buc-ee's in Kentucky and someone snapped a picture of us looking for a parking spot

It’s been about a year and a half since that paint post. How’s the paint holding up?

Im extremely tempted to try my hood but its not a solid color, its a metallic gray.
The paint has held up good, but in fairness it lives in the garage and I work at home. I'll be doing some paint work again soon because I'm chopping up the HD hood soon.

Imo the hardest thing when applying paint is the prep work. If there's any imperfections on the surface it'll definitely show through the new paint.

I got a nice little dent in the front of the hood that needs work. I haven’t noticed anything else major….

Realistically I have nothing to lose lol the hood looks like dog shit and I haven’t even paid if off yet
