Warning Dinger Disable - 05' Tahoe Z71 5.3

Hey all,

I recently got an 05' Tahoe Z71 for the price of brake lines, and the ABS pump that I broke.

I did all stainless steel brake lines and a couple of them don't seal up quite right at the ABS pump which leads to a brake light on the dash and a "service brake system" warning in the DIC. This causes the door dinger to go off non-stop and it's getting really annoying.

The Tahoe has the Bose sound system and I temporarily fixed the issue by pulling out the fuse for the amp, I’d like to get the radio working again without the annoying chime.

Is there any way to disable or bypass the chime without swapping the head unit?

Also, if anyone has tips for getting stainless steel brake lines to seal properly at the ABS module, I’m all ears.

I have found you really have to wrench down on the ss lines to get them to not leak.

I feel like standard steel lines or even nicop lines are a touch over snug and seal perfect. I really had to wrench down on all my connections when I did the SS lines so they wouldn't leak.

I mean I had them DAMN tight, way tighter than I was comfortable with. I think the flares are screwed up or something.
