baer 4 or 6 piston calipers? you know they make the same setup thats on the truck not just a larger piston and IMO not worth spending the money on it.Thanks man, a little more is no problem. Ive found some baer kits on ebay new for around $1200-$1400 depending on model. But i just want the front for now. Hell i can buy just the rotors for around 500 on ebay. I just want to know what all to get, what pieces i need to buy. I have no clue. I normally use ebc brake pads but am open to others as well.

ill have to disagree with you on that. i upgraded my camaro from 4 piston brakes to cts-v 6 piston brakes and it dramatically changed the stopping power on my car. it puts a more even amount of pressure across the surface of the pad utilizing it more. now the corvette z06 has 6 small pads on their brakes which is actually better for the cars braking than 2 large pads. its all about consistancy across the pad that gets better stopping power. things like stainless steel brake lines help increase pressure to the pad. and things like wilwood 600 brake fluid help maintan a better fluid temp under heavy braking and allow you a higher boiling point. so does larger brakes increase fluid pressure? no. but it increases braking consistancy and pad/ rotor friction.
So i talked to clkelley for a while last night and he was very informative. I think im gonna go w/ the r1concepts brakes and replace the lines w/ stainless steel as well. Thanks everyone for their input and will post up pics in a few weeks when they get done. If i do it, i will try a write up, but most likely it will be my mechanic cause im a **** and hate the cold. I'll take before and after shots though.
