Updates for Tech2?

I have a GM Tech2 that I got from an old job. They were doing scan tool benchmarking and no longer needed it. Win for me, downside is it only will work up to 07 vehicles. Does anyone know of a way/place to get these updated?

You might try the cheap knockoffs on eBay. Alternately, might want to search the forums here for similar items. I don't have time to look right now, or I'd give you a few links. There's at least one thread where I got this information for myself, which is why I know it's out there.

Boot the Tech 2 and let it do the POST, then the screen should show the current version at the bottom. Latest for these is 33.004. Yours might already be there.

Mine only supports up to 07 model year currently. I'd think it's pretty out of date.

I'll have to check it out once I get it back from my buddy who's using it for a P0300.
