Does anyone know where we can get a list of the potential software updates, regardless if it has been installed or not?
I’m pretty sure this is only Electronic Radio related, not engine.

My Yukon just told me a Software Update was ready. I thought I started the install, but in looking at the Update History, I don’t see anything new. (was in the garage, I know, gotta be outside)
In Order, it shows these updates installed:
N25-F162BU
V653.20
SIHM22B-00499.02
SIHM22B-00306.02….. 85747470.mnf
N23-2411560

Part Two question: What about engine related software updates? Last time in for an oil change, they performed the ECM Update:
N252510320

What other updates may be out there, whether Electronic (OTA) or Engine (Dealer)

Just don't know how persistant I need to be, trying to download and install the Software updates... and what do they help, if anything.

the only real way I know of is to scan the system while connected to techline it will scan the entire system for the current calibrations and then it will show the available calibrations that can be updated, each vehicle is going to vary depending on the trim level and what the current calibrations are per each individual module part number and revision.
the dealer should be able to do it for one flat diagnostic fee which is normally around $180.00
If you happen to have the right interface tools and a computer you could pay the $45 fee to techline and get 2 years of updates per vehicle vin.
unless they have a tsb (and you have a verifiable directly related problem), recall or they come over the air then they are generally not free from the dealer unless there being extra nice.

like if you took it in for a service and asked the counter monkey if they could do you a solid and install any updates, that may or may not be free

FWIW, your list looks like mine (I have a 2023 Tahoe, by the way), except for the most recent update that I installed on March 17 - first one on the list in my pic.

Interesting. I had a new available update show up a week or two ago (didn’t catch the number), but I didn’t get it installed, and then it seemed to disappear and hasn’t shown back up since then. I assume it must be that one. What are the details of that one?

I had the same issue... it would say Update avaiable / ready... I'd start the update, nothing changed. Two weeks ago...
Then it appearred a second time, and said 'couldn't install now'...
Then yesterday, it appeared a third time and completed sucessfully.

Pretty vauge what it's for. Seems as if it help to prevent False alerts, and updates OnStart communications? I searched for it and found a few descriptions, today, I can't find them.
In my world, no changes noted. Radio still 'stutters' during the first 3 minutes of driving, almost daily. After the inital 3 minutes, fine the rest of the day. Makes no sense.

Yeah, for me, the audio cut-outs seemed to get a bit better after the previous update, but they’re still there. Before, they would sometimes happen even after I had been driving for awhile, now they seem to be limited to the first couple minutes like you said.
