I’ll be putting this in soon and considering replacing the lines as well with some an hose. Just curious as to the fluid flow.

The upper hose on the transmission housing is the return and lower is hot high pressure?

is this accurate?

I'd think the remote filter would be better between the trans and radiator, basically first in line before anything else.

Used the stock fittings with no leaks. It has been a year. Just started towing. Even in the mountains my temps haven’t gone over 175 with my loaded travel trailer. Weight is between 5000/5200 pounds. Elevation 5000 feet. Will be going up to 9-10 k soon.

That poor power steering fluid cooler looks like it's ready to go

Yea, it's got that rusted ready to spit a leak look. Hell, if you clean it off with pressure it might spring a leak. Do it too?

Anyone who installed this cooler, did your fittings feel rather loose when screwing them in, with either the hose barb fittings it came with or the jiffy-tite quick connects?

Also, has anyone's come in just a plain white box with only the logo on one side and nothing else printed on the box?

Finally got the tranny cooler installed. Pretty simple plug and play. The worst part is changing the fittings on the transmission for the new AN fittings. There’s zero room up there.

now just need to order a new dash with the tranny temp gauge

Do you have any pictures of the SS lines installed? Did you run SS from the cooler to the trans, or did you get the shorter lines that run into the existing tranny lines. I didn’t even think they made the latter of the two but to my surprise I think someone who didn’t want to deal with the “fat hand” issue came up with a easier/cheaper method.

Any issues or signs of leaking from the radiator where you did the bypass?

I have my 40k (w/ cold weather bypass) on hand and am trying to decide if I should run new Tranny lines, order the braided SS or just use the hose that came with the kit.
