When a technician is using a Tech 2 they are automatically notified for the need of the CANdi module by a message on the screen of the Tech 2. The CANdi module will be needed on 2005 & later GM vehicles & 2006 & later Isuzu commercial vehicles when two or more vehicle computers (ECM, TCM, BCM, ABS) are communicating. The CANdi module does not interfere with any diagnostic procedure currently performed by the Tech 2.
I was told this before by you guys--my 03 doesn't need the candi module then? Especially if I want to reset the fuel trims?

Affirmative, like Scott said set it aside unless you want to use it as an extension cable like I’ve done when I was operating the rear hvac actuators while I watched them move from the back.

I was thinking the truck was adjusting the trim to compensate for a potential mismatch of injectors. Can't tell until it gets some time to adjust with a working O2.

It's very possible, at this point anything is possible with this thing!

Know if theres any other injectors that would fit that are very close to the same flow? Maybe he swapped one bank and not the other.

I might be wrong but I'm fairly certain that the FF injectors have different connectors than non-FF. The whole bank, or individual injector connectors, would have to have been changed. Not probable, but also not outside the realm of possibilities here....

EDIT: is there a FF version of the 6.0?

Until we confirm if that new O2 is working as expected we are guessing. It would be good to see it operating in closed loop. A video showing the sweep would be best.

Agreed. Best to focus on the issue at hand and see what STFTs look like in closed loop. Ignore LTFTs for now; unless something is causing them not to update, they'll eventually come closer to STFTs as long as STFS are good. LTFTs are just an average of STFTs over time anyway.

Careful, if it sits a long time it might kill a weak battery. The led lights stays on all the time. I wired mine to keyed pwr.
Yeah I figured that but them LEDs use a tiny bit of power. I usually leave the USB adapters plugged in all the time and they have LEDs on them. If it kills my battery. I’ll know it’s time for a new one lol
