My fault, I thought that spec sheet I posted said there was a double installed. Is the Cloyes setup a straight up install? Or is there some clearancing or anything else involved? I just want to replace the stocker and have a durable, yet easy install. My van has 147,000 on it, and it seemed to have alot of slack in it. Just want take care of that on the 6.0--just in case.

Want an LS2 style timing damper? I ended up reusing my original tensioner setup.

You don't need a double timing chain, and if you did get one you would need to clearance the timing cover which you don't really want to do. I used a Cloyes roller timing set, you might look into their stuff- it's top notch.
Are you running their chain setup?

This is crazy . I say scratch the engine and go all electric.
He already scratched the engine months ago and he’s charging the electrics up right now....

I need suggestions. For the new(used) 6.0, what kind of chain and what oil pump should I get? Hv? Standard? It'll be a Melling tho. Suggestions, ideas? Going to my buddy's this Thursday, so I need to get all this stuff ready.

Many crate engine shops only provide a warranty if you have them install a high volume high pressure mellings pump. Seems overkill to me but what do I know my 6.0 is blowed up lol.

Ok, maybe that'll be fine. Old one was a HV that I guess quit. 2 mechanics said I had no oil pressure.
