tire kingdom is on my sh** list now

i went to my local auto guy to get a oil change and fuel injection cleaner done. well 30 mins into it i got a call saying that the bolt on my oil pan was over tighten and the threads are striped. He couldnt get the bolt out even it would just turn. so tomorrow im calling tire kingdom who did my last oil change to give them my 2 cents and make them replace there mistake.

That is one of the many reasons I change my own oil.


Oh, and Tire Kingdom does suck, they are all dumbasses with no more sense than the guys in the walmart automotive dept.

You got it! As well as all the other "mechanic shops" with dumbasses who don't make but 9 or 10 bucks an hour. I'd rather go to a "real" mechanic.

Then again, I've been using a local shop for about 15 years for all of my vehicles called "Tiremobile"......

I also avoid anywhere with "Land", "world", "zone", "palace", "kingdom", or "factory" in the name of the place.

He doesn't change his own oil because he doesn't want to get his fingers dirty lol

all those places, jiffy lube, pepboys, bj, sears, they all hire Young kids, who are looking to get into auto business or are in a automotive program. if you want it done right, do it your self. Hey at least they should replace your oil pan for you.

ive changed my oil many times before but it gets to the point were im to busy lol ive been working 10hr days at macdil airforce base setting metal trusses on the new combat training building they have going up. the sun kicks my butt so on my days off i like just to kick back and watch tv. i have a appt at 3 to see what they say. Ha im not afraid to raise hell in the office.

its the oil pan threads that are stripped. they called and said there looking for a oversize plug to try that. I guess ill be without the hoe for a few days seeing how there pace is with the truck. Oh well gives me a excuse to use my work truck little more 06 3500 turbo diesel oh lord i love that thing.

well finally got my hoe back. They took the pan off and got the hole re-threaded then found a plug that would fit. did the oil change and everything free of charge as it should of been lol. FUTURE NOTE: I will doing my oil changes for now on, THINKING A DECENT PLACE MIGHT ME ABLE TO COMPLETE THE JOB, i guess i wasn't thinking at all. oh well lesson learned
