Should I be concerned with the ticking sound? Any guesses what it's from?

157kThat ain't right. Sounds like it's at the frequency of cam rotation so likely valvetrain related. Other possibilities: Loose rocker arm, broken valve spring, intermittently sticking AFM lifter. I'd pop the valve cover on that side and have a looksee. How many miles?
The contract expired, and I had @BlackBearPerf tune it and turn off AFM.2012 YXL. Still have any coverage on the 3yr / 50K service contract?
1st check for exhaust gasket leaks. Have it checked ASAP if you can have coverage on the S/C.
Is the AFM turned off with a module yet?
@itsbo1313 My lifter sound would come and go, sometimes it gets stuck in the wrong position and sometimes it can sort itself out. I would say that you are on borrowed time, it might last 1 week or 1 more year. Start making a plan for when it happens. The sound is not as noticeable anymore. Am I on borrowed time?
Ditto.... Did it ever come back or did you have to do something about the exhaust or lifters later by chance?Years ago I had a Suburban that developed a ticking noise. Noise went away when I replaced the spark plugs and wires.
