Putting in my order for '23 Yukon Ultimate today. Dealer said the only constraint was illumination packages, and that Super Cruise was on the order and available. I'll believe it when I see it...
My 2023 Yukon Denali ultimate was built last week and shipped today. Just got the build sheet and while supercruise was Available and actually on my order accepted by GM, the Yukon does not have it. It has illumination, RSE and nearly every other feature

Well I hope they didn't charge you for it! I'll trade you my SC if it has it, for the illumination package :D How long from accepted to shipping?

I initially tried to order a 2022 Tahoe premier in November 2021 nothing ever happened but I found it that it was the salesman so I was given a new salesman around the 1st of July 22. He told me that they were closing down orders for 2022 and he should get some allocations that week. He received allocations and my order was approved July 6 for a 2023 Chevy Tahoe. They said there were constraints on cruise which I care nothing about I never use cruise. I was able to get everything I wanted ordered. On July 14 salesman said tpw was July 25. Received update yesterday that event code was 3400. I wonder how long does it take to actually produce a vehicle.

your situation probably happens more often than it should

i've been told around 8hrs for trucks...would think that was continuous but who knows

guess the 2023 production is moving along...noticed a few on a dealer's website as in transit...looks like the base price of the Z71 has increased by $500...and this one, of all things, has the rear entertainment, an option that I thought wasn't going to be available until......?

for anyone using Chevrolet's website to search for new inventory headed to dealerships, you can change the date (two different places) in the address bar and it'll bring up the 2023s in transit...

This is fantastic, works for the GMC searching as well. I can see some Yukon Ultimates in transit to dealers around me, I wonder if that means built and actually in transit? Once they get assigned a VIN they're close to being sent out right?

Has anyone able to get a TPW with rear entertainment on a Denali that is not the ultimate package? I really wanted the RSE but was told it would never get built if I added it to my order so I ordered without.

Seems like RSEs are getting built on all trim levels - here's a '23 Yukon XL SLT w/ RSE --> https://cws.gm.com/vs-cws/vehshop/v2/vehicle/windowsticker?vin=1GKS2GKD2PR104995&bac=119446

Your dealer is thinking about the '22 constraint on RSE that was at zero for most of that production year. It could still be on constraint, but they are at least building some of them.

What does seem to be on zero constraint is Max Tow and Pro Safety Plus packages. I can't find a single '23 model in transit that has those options. Also, looks like there's ~10 Duramax Yukon XLs in transit across the entire country. Not a zero constraint, but highly constrained nonetheless... This isn't looking good for my Yukon XL SLE w/ Max Tow, Pro Safety and Duramax order... :(

Looks like exactly 8 '23 Duramax Yukon XLs currently in-transit. To search for yourself, just do a Yukon XL inventory search and in the URL change the year from 2022 to 2023.

Then select powertrain options and limit to Duramax. FYI- the numbers next to the option do not accurately represent the number in-transit. When I do this search it says there's 128 next to Duramax, but when you filter based on that option, then it says "Showing 8 exact matches and 274 similar matches."

Finally received word last night, mine is officially a 2023. I am not sure if my dealer isn't the right one, or what the issue is, but having ordered it last year, watched the status go to 2200, then be told it isn't being built as a 22. now a 23. Now I have an order number and we start back at 1101. I asked about constraints and cost, didn't get an answer to either one, as well as an estimated time frame. Is it just my dealer, or all do all dealers not communicate well with customers? I am considering a different dealer, but will it actually be different?

All dealers can view constraints (their own, as well as national) and pricing is shown in the build right on the sheet, so you're just working with a bunch of assholes.

My weekly update.... last week i was given a tpw of 8/1. I talked to my dealer and it has been bumped BACK to 9/12 and he has no idea why as there is another tahoe/yukon at his dealer that is going to be built 8/8. GM is getting stupid. I get mine is a lowly LS but hell i shouldnt get bumped back when my tahoe has no options except bench seats in all 3 rows. Getting old. Keep getting pushed back. First from a 22 to 23, now this. Seen folks order 22s after mine and they have taken delivery already. Such BS. Sorry for the rant.

It's tough to give anyone an estimated time frame given the current demand/parts shortages, etc. If the dealer gives a customer a 5 month time frame and it turns into 9 months, the customer is upset. It's a tough place for dealers to be in, but I don't think changing dealers will give you better info regarding timing.

As far as constraints, yes all dealers have access to this info, but if you're dealing with a sales associate they likely don't have that info. Depending on the size of the dealer, it's usually only the ordering manager that has this info.

You can certainly try other dealers and just a 5 minute conversation on the phone with them should give you an idea if they have their ducks in a row.

My 2023 Premier is built (#4430 per VIN) but sitting waiting on transport although dealer stated the system shows “delayed” so no idea how long it will be before it gets here.
