So finally installed them. Old one were just broken while removing them and the new ones where a pain in the ass to install. I guessing the plast-dip was to thick for the tabs to go in, but what assn improvement it has made.

What did you grab that out of? I've never seen that before.
My truck has that center console cubby/cup holder. Who would have ever thought someone would want to swap for that part, but I do like how simple it is. Probably find them in LS models.

SO AWHILE BACK I PURCHASED A PIONEER STEREO WITH SPEAKER COMBO FROM WALMART.
CAME WITH HEAD UNIT 2 6x5 SPEAKERS AND 2 6x9 SPEAKERS. I INSTALLED ALL BUT THE 6x9'S AND LEFT THE REAR ALONE DO TO THE 6x9'S WONT FIT. THE OTHER NIGHT I MODIFIED THE ORIGINAL SPEAKER BRACKET TO FIT THE 6X9, GOT IT TO WORK EVERYTHING CLEARS. I JUST NEED TO TRIM THE DOOR PANEL FOR THE SPEAKER.

Using all caps is yelling or cussing on the internet...
This was already explained.

Not only is it "common internet language", but doing that slows down your reading. Its annoying as shit, and you're making it harder for people who are trying to help you. Instead of 915_tahoe getting it, they continue to do it in every post they make. If they didn't continue to do it after being informed of the problem, I would try to help them. Instead I'm just going to laugh at how stupid that was to mount your 6x9s like that. You would now be better off wiring them in series as one mono subwoofer.

SERIOUSLY, :ban:

Wow, a lot of negativity in here. The reason the caps are on is I post from work so the system is setup that way.

BULL …. SHIT... That's not the way systems or keyboards work. Amazing how you somehow figured it out for this post. Even on this post you could have just grown up and said OK. That maybe you didn't realize it was a problem or some other excuse. Instead you doubled down, and came up with another lie.

Or are you going to try to triple down and say your "system that writes in all caps", knows to use a small x when writing 6x9's, but not 6X9??
Or perhaps this one.
What I did at work yesterday , instead of doing my actual work. Lol

Where you didn't use caps, along with a couple other posts, but then later went back to it..

Clearly you're lying....

We need to get over ourselves?? You're the one who couldn't go-along to get the help you were asking for. I'll bet if I bother to search, this isn't the only thread someone has mentioned it to you. Were trying to help, and you are making it harder for people to do so. Not sure why that is so difficult for you to understand or for you to try to cooperate with the rest of the ENTIRE ******* INTERNET for the purpose of having improved communication.

We can keep this going or I can see that you have stopped using all CAPS for atleast a couple of petty posts. So lets see if we can just move on.

Where is Chicos tacos, and why is it so special? I just went through el paso a week ago. I fill up in el paso to and from Phoenix, because its about as far as you want a tank to go, and its the farthest West you can get Taco Cabana.

Also for the rear accessory panel, my plan is to install some USB inputs. There used to be so many different types of chargers, but now its really just Samsung and apple. Makes it easy to leave 1 or 2 cables back there (out of the way) for rear (or front) passenger charging. I was going to use a retractable cable and store it in the cubby slot.

When did I ask for help on this thread, cause I didnt.
IF THE CAPS BOTHER YOU THAT MUCH THEN DON'T READ MY POST SIMPLE AS THAT.

When caps are off I post from my phone.

WHEN CAPS ARE ON I POST FROM WORK, WHICH IS HOW OUR SYSTEM AT WORK IS.

What's your on/off temps? Can't wait to do this!! Where you put the oem relays and wiring? I bought the oem fuse box to do it.
Not sure on the temps, just sent it to the guy told him to turn then on.

Ran the factory harness as it would have been on the 05-06 models. Since mine is an 01 I had to use a relay for the ac, I purchased a novita relay and the matching pig tail to go with it. I'll get some pics of it in the morning. Also got the fuse box when I pulled the harness and fan from my brothers wrecked sierra.

Since mine is an 03, will I need a relay for the ac? I did get the complete harness including the relays--that 2nd half of the harness that attach to the fuse box-- from an 05.
