No 03+ silverado much much better look. Tough looking . Especially the HD front. Our tahoes front don't look scary, if anything they look scared lol.
I was just talking to @Sevenevez and the gaps. The Silverado has none. Tahoes do even more than the Denalis.

The cladded is what i was thinking of when I made this. It doesn't seem too hard to do. Will the hood n stuff fit on Tahoe fenders? I def see having to modify the avalanche bumper. Mainly wonder

The cladded avalanche is what I was picturing when I made this. Would I be able to keep the Tahoe fenders and just modify the avalanche bumper? Also would the headlights fit without having to cut out the fenders? I feel like it would look a bit funny with avalanche fenders

You basically need to blend the front of the avalanche fender with the back of the Tahoe fender. It won't look good without a lot of fabrication, and even then that is subjective.

For me the Chevy front ends are in order.

1. 01-02 HD
2. 99-02 1500 Truck, 01-06 SUV
3. 05-07 HD, 06-07 1500 Truck

4. 03-05 1500, 03-04 HD

I like the idea, but it still wouldn't look right. Would need to finish the cladding down the body. Cut a section out of the rear quarter panel and weld in an avalanche quarter panel.
Need front core support too

I agree, I do like the 99-02 HD front end. That looked awesome.

Pretty much that order except 03+ sierra with hd hood takes the cake

I disagree. The 2008-14 Silverado with the HD hood takes the cake hands down.

yes the swap can be done, you just have to take the whole front and fenders hood lights radiator support and it should be straight plug and play

I’m pretty certain that the version they sold down in Mexico actually did get that update in 03 which has the Avalanche clip.

Y'all really need to get out more, these conversions have been done coast to coast on plenty of rides. Down in the Valley here and in socal a lot of guys are starting to mold on the newer style HD duramax hoods onto OBS and NBS trucks as well

Hey now I get out plenty. Not many 1st gen avy fronts, wasn't the most desirable to begin with. Probably why they changed it to the Silverado front. The same style did work for the Colorado tho with the upside down lights:shrug:
And i think op was looking for bolt on not fabrication swap
