Just picked up JL Stealth Box (w/ 10" W3) for console and a XD600.1 amp. Thinking about Kenwood DVD, Sirius, B/T... deck to go with. Hoping For 'decent' improvement over my complete stock set-up. Let you know how install goes this weekend.
Any experience w/ these JL pieces, or opinions?

Only things I hear are that it'll shake the S out of the dash....deaden everything in the general vicinity. There's another "do it yourself audio" forum where a guy just dropped one in and shows what he did for the rattles you will have

Had the W3 installed in my 06 Tahoe. It is vast improvement over stock and hits when u crank it. Won't match some of the massive set ups on the TYF but integrates nicely into the front replacing that unused seat. The carpet match of the box was perfect. Now need the rest of the carpet to look that good.

Haven't really had an issue with unwanted vibrations, just good solid sounds. Happy with outcome . Haven't regretted the decision to get one, only now want more noise! Shop was also able to work in the cup holders from the stock setup at the front. Sorry no pics at moment.

Paired with all new Phoenix Gold door speakers (front and back as they were all blown), JVC double din and JL 5 channel amp. Pretty good setup without breaking the bank and drowns out the kids and wife when I need it to!

Interested to see what you think of your outcome. Good luck.

Not sure what that unused seat looks like. I have 03' with center console with bose sub. Using their loaded sealed box.
Maybe similar 'box' - only mine buried w/in console so no carpet to match.
Thanks, now I seen that post. Good info, so that will eliminate at least 1 R/R during the process.

Sorry for bad pic. Don't have my pics with me. On my 2006 LS, Bose system not at that trim level, the actual console sits on this center seat. You can flip the console up and have a 3rd person just like the old bench seat days. The Stealthbox takes the place of the actual seat, the console bolts back onto the Stealthbox and into the floor of the truck with the passenger and driver seats. So you still have the console but the entire underneath space is the loaded W3. Hope that clarifies a bit better my first description.

All clear. Didn't even realize that seating option was avail.
All went smooth. Console reinstalled less than 1/4" off center due to vents; no biggie at all. Amp and deck no prob. Sounds amazing. Don't know why I waited so long. No comparison in sound quality, and don't even know what to expect from speaker upgrades in future. Might be newly addicted to audio. Only other note is that cup holder insert looks right, but no positive 'snap' into place so far. Console is stuffed full w/ this box; super tighjt fit.
Used carpet and foam tape to fill small gaps and between panels to eliminate rattles. Glad I was given heads-up on that. Didn't expect this much bass. Real happy!

Nice one. Yeah there is no comparison to stock. I was pretty stoked and craving more. Love to get that one song and turn that volume knob to the right as much as possible.
