Cost? You know the saying. “If it’s got T*tts or Tire it’s going to be expensive”

Hood, grill, bumper, windshield, running board, driver side rear tire, maybe wheel I’m still looking at what is all that’s effed up.

I think I’m more mad about the new wheels and tires then the rest of the stuff.

All right guys. Need ideas on what to do for the front? Should I keep the z71 stuff or do a HD swap or do the SS bumper? I like the z71 round fog lights but.. need ideas before I go to the body shop. What about head lights? HID’s? Or keep it stock?

How about the HD hood and grill with the SS bumper? I have the grill and hood with the stock bumper. I trimmed like an 1" off the bottom of the grill to fit. I'm partial to led lights myself.
That sux tho.

So I just submitted an estimate of $7800 to fix the ol’ rust ez. I’m sure state farm is going to do a total loss but they ain’t getting my truck. So I bought a replacement wheel, tire, TPMS, running board, z71 rocker trim and lower quarter trim. Going to have to replace the core support, hood, grill and bumper.

I did find pre painted front and rear bumpers that I’m eyeing pretty hard.

I guess the question is what should I settle on money wise for this truck. I’ve been looking for replacements and can’t find 05 z71’s with close to my mileage for under $9500 around here.

Ok guys. Just made the deal with insurance. $6800 and I get to keep Rust-eze. I got most of the parts here and I’m less then $800 to fix it. I still got to buy bumpers and still looking for a grill shell. Then it’s fixed. I think I can do it for less then $2k and continue the build.

Was that a good deal?

I think so. So everything you need is just bolt on parts? Or is there some metal work needed? If it's just bolt on parts, I think you'll def be able to do it for under $2k.
