Oh gotcha, weird perspective lol

I've seen them as high as $300-400 each. Got these for $800 shipped, so figured might as well.
And let me tell you, they are HEAVY. Even with the place being commercial, it surely was still significant for coat to ship.

I found one dude in NY selling a set with Bridgestone that it came with from GM (never driven beyond transport) for $900 with tires. He said the ones he's sold and shipped went for $150 per wheel/tire. No way that was practical to me.

Scored them on eBay, used on one transport and have been sitting. Taking them to get powdercoated Monday, gloss black. I've got Kumho's ready to go on.

I had to ask. They seem to pop up in interesting ways and places- the tire guy at the dealership being allowed to keep em, being dug out of a dumpster at the dealership, etc. Sometimes they're super cheap and other times people see their real value. I almost bought one off eBay to have as a spare. Finding a single matching wheel on Marketplace with a good tire included was way cheaper.

Anxious to see your results!

Ah, so you ended up not going with Mike, RC. When he told me his new price..I didn’t bother passing any more info to you. They are very heavy indeed…I’m assuming you’re putting 285/45/22 on, you will definitely not have the cushy ride those 70 series tires you’re on now give. Braking will be slower, ride definitely harder. I just last week switched back to my 265 Firestone cop wheels, because I got a chunk of metal in one of my 22s, and honestly the ride is dreamy now comparatively. The 285s do rub the backs of the fender liners…I had to cut some squares out to stop that. Even with all that said, until last week, I’ve had them on for 3 years with no issues, I love the look, no one else has 22” steelies in town on anything. (I’ve seen a couple of 20” Mobsteels) They do get plenty of positive comments…and realistically, I’ll fix my tire, and put them back on.
