I've always wondered if anyone made a metal front skid plate, now I know :)
Thanks for posting the links for the skid plate.

Has anyone tried to "make an offer" on his eBay link?
Pricing is fair but, shipping is rather steep.
ya @Galante had him make one without the slots in it and he got a better price, you can always call him and ask he is in San diego and he has a regular website or shoot him a message on ebay

ok, so here's picture time. Its been rainy and kinda gross here so the undercarriage isnt super clean but its good enough.

Here is the front metal skid plate, covering the front diff and offering protection from the hump of the oil pan

And here is the transfer case skid plate. It mounts slightly to an angle, which I find weird, but it covers the front drive portion of the case completely from underneath.

full

And again, these were mounted using a stock bolt run into all the holes to act as my tap, since they are self threading, and then installed with yellow zinc, grade 10.9 M10x1.5x25 bolts and washers from O Reilly's.

What's the part # for the front differential metal skid plate?

Also, does that transfer case skid plate only bolt down at the front? Does the rear attach to anything or just stick out there?

Front diff plate number is 20944322
Xfer case plate number is 20922755

The Xfer case only bolts down in that front position. Its also steel, and about as thick as the crossmember steel, i put my weight on it pulling from that backside ( which isnt much granted compared to the tahoe ) and it didnt budge, was able to rock the truck pulling on it

That t-case skid plate #20922755 shows as not fitting the Denali.

as the hybrid I would like to add extra under body protection there seem to always be a lot of garbage on the road.

Does that crossmember in the photo look like yours? GM even used that PN# on the 800s and they had different TCs but do not know off-hand if they used your Borg Warner back then. If it sticks down a little, you can bend the shield a little bit for clearance. I had a finger or two of clearance with the Magna Power TC.

Not sure, I haven't looked recently.

I know when entering either my vin or vehicle make/model on websites like gmpartsdirect it says it doesn't fit.
