I really didn't have a specific model in mind just asking because there's 2 audio shop live near me an 1 sells all jl audio products an the other all alpine

This is my short and simple system :)

I have a stock head unit with a Boss RCA converter, Pioneer GM-5400T 2-Channel 760W Amp and a Sony X-Plod 10" Slim-Fire Sub with a Sealed Sony Box that it came with.

AMP cost me $160 @ Crutchfield and Sub/Box was $180 @ Bestbuy.

It's not an extremely earth moving system but it definitely cleans up the bass. I also like that it doesn't take up a large amount of my trunk space!

either JL or Alpine. But you cant compare an Alpine Type R to a JL W0, so it really isnt fair to say which is better. But either is good, just fine one you like at the price you can afford. :)

I got an Alpine Type R in a Bassworx box w/ Alpine MRP-500 amp for $600 installed. Great system! I love it and it's a beast.

Thanks bro i went with a similar set up 1 12 digital design sub an a kenwood 750watt mono amp sound great
