Seat Foam Doesn't Fit 2011 Tahoe

Replaced my seat cushion today on my 2011 Tahoe PPV. The new cushion is certainly more firm, but for the life of me I can't figure out why there is this massive gap. Did I get the wrong foam?

I wouldn't say you got the wrong one. Maybe it's just how that brand molds theirs. Slice foam off the original one and glue it to the sides of the new one to fill it out.

Are the driver and passenger seat foams shaped differently? Maybe they sent you the wrong side. Is there any part #’s embossed into the foam?

Well I went OEM and that fixed it. It appears that the aftermarmet foam is cut a little different than stock.

That's very strange. My foam from the seat shop fit perfect. Were you able to return the one from Amazon?

Yep, I received a bad foam pad from an eBay vendor. Went with one from the seat shop and it is perfect.

Down the road it’s a huge timesaver for the poor guys that buy the foam you got.
