Yo know what set your interior of right, a denali airbag from an 04+ Yukon. It would look subtle but fancy!

Have a picture? Ever since I installed my Autowoods steering wheel the airbag has bothered me.

I don't think those fit mine; the 02's are a bit different than the 03-up. The steering wheel is different.

I have a stock steering wheel from when I did my esky steering wheel swap, if you want that, let me know. I needs some attention though.

No no no I have an Autowoods wheel that cost me a small fortune! I'm good, thanks. I think my airbag just needs to be painted or dyed or whatever to match better.
Edit: I just remembered that I cleaned my old leather with Scrubbing Bubbles so it matched the new leather so I tried it on the airbag. It worked great- unbelievable how much gunk came off it. Now it matches the new leather of the steering wheel.

Today I started cleaning up the engine bay. It's amazing how much those plastic covers hide. Now that I can't use them, I decided to make things look clean as best as possible without breaking the bank. I've just started so I haven't done too much. One of the ugliest pieces in the engine bay is the horrible looking cast aluminum alternator/ power steering bracket. I removed it and painted with VHT Crinkle Plus in black, along with the new pulley bracket included with my Whipple. Then I looked at the new water pump and thought that would have been nice to paint it before I installed it. Oh well, I painted it installed. The pic shows the VHT before it started crinkling. Next will be the valve covers, coil packs and their brackets. I also wrapped the CAI intake tube in header wrap and decided hey, since it's a race truck now, no need for a front plate so I deleted it.

I want a black alternator and I've been looking at some. Kinda spendy, might have to sell some of my extra parts first!

Nice work Red. I painted my alternator in place one day with an artist brush, just because. Not as nice as that gloss one pictured above, but much better than the OEM look.

What header wrap is that? Just generic stuff? I plan on doing the same. True CAI

I used denatured alcohol and scotchbrite pads. It comes off pretty easy. Stripper will damage the plastic.

No I meant just the 3 piece engine cover.
