rear overhead monitor issue..need remote?

I have really enjoyed the 07 Tahoe LTZ. It has all the goodies, but, I dont know how to get the RSE monitor turned on without taking out and reinserting the DVD. there must be another way. I bought it used and did not get the remote. Kids are pissed because the movie always restarts to get the rear screen turned on. It is the Panasonic monitor and the DVD goes in the dash unit. I really like this option as well. It should keep scratched discs to a minimum. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
