Loaned my Tahoe to my brother for his wedding this weekend to transport gifts, kids, etc.
In the process, I think one of the rear suspension parts went out. Coincidence in my opinion. The truck is an 07 with about 80K miles on it.
What is happening is that when going over any minor/major bumps, something in the rear will make a clunking sound almost like bottoming out.
This led me to believe I may have a shock dead but if that's the case, I thought the rear would start doing a low rider bounce because the springs would compensate? This does not happen.
Ideas? I am planning to lower the Hoe anyways but would like to get to the bottom of this issue in case it is not something I can address with the new suspension pieces.
