On police Tahoes there is a feature called idle protect. You could leave the Tahoe running and the ac/heat on and the truck can’t be moved until the key fob is back in the car.

I transport my dogs and this would be a useful feature.
Has anyone tried to get this turned on. Or figured out how to turn it on a regular Tahoe

it would need to be a feature programmed by a 3rd party, gm won't do it unless you are a leo and it's not a simple process
you could try white automotive or bt dieselworks
