I have a 2008 SSV tahoe. I am hoping someone with experience on these SSV's can give me some ideas on what my Tahoe was used for in the Law enforcement. I have had her for 3 years and basically rebuilt her cosmetically and some mods under the hood, but I am VERY curious about what its life looked like before I purchased it from the fellow who bought it at auction (1 owner after the force/agency decommissioned my truckand he was probably 70). My truck had no cages, very minimal holes in interior, maybe a couple on the center console, but besides the rubber Mats, cloth front seats and small two holes on the roof for lights, I cant figure out WHAT my truck was used for. Supervisor? Border patrol? I live in Canada by the way. I have been leaning towards it being a Supervisors Tahoe, just by how great condition it is for being over 15 years old, but i have always been very curious. Vin only says "special service" , so SSV obviously. Any insight would be great based on the only clues I have, which is the condition and amount of apparent previous hardware. There seems to be very minimal equipment that was ran through this thing. No cages, no holes in headliner/dash, center console looks to be near civilian, no read climate control, no fog lights (i installed some). Any help would be mych appreciated!

Super/Chief maybe, not sure, how many miles? Anyway, love the stripe in place of the door guards. Did you do that?

I just managed to find out the history of my SSV and made a thread about it, ha!
Ever run a Carfax on it?
Any antenna/radio remnants?
Photo of the console?
Did any emergency lights remain when you bought it?
If so, what colors were they?
Spotlights?
Wiring packages (WX7, 7X6, 6J4)?

Here is the upfitter guide for 2014 that was super helpful for me, maybe you can find one for '08, but they shouldn't be too different either way.
